Brookland Schools is committed to working
with parents in order to provide the highest
quality educational experience possible for
all students. One of the best resources to help
with this goal is our parent center. It offers
many pamphlets to assist you and your student
on a variety of issues. The parent center also
offers a guide to helpful parent resource books
located in the library. Computers are also
available in the parent center for parents to
use. The parent resource link on the Brookland
home page offers many fun and interesting
ways you can participate in your child’s education.
The Junior High and Senior High Parent
Centers are both located in the lobbies of the
counselor’s offices of their respective buildings.
For questions about the Parent Centers or how
you can become a volunteer, please contact
Mrs. Katrina Haustein, Jr. High Parent Center
Director ([email protected]) or
Dr. Melany Bowman, Sr. High Parent Center
Director ([email protected]).
For those students planning on taking the ACT this
summer, Brookland High School will be offering a
two-week ACT Review. This comprehensive review includes
test taking strategies, time management skills,
and practice tests for all four areas of the exam. Sessions
will meet daily 8 am-12 pm. The first day of the
review is May 29. See Mr. Wyatt to get an intent form.
The intent forms are due back to Mr. Wyatt by May 18,
2018.
We will collect Chromebooks May 14th-17th in the
media center during SLT. All personal files not saved
will be deleted over the summer. Students need to hand
in their assigned Chromebook, Charger, Bag, and the
Strap.
Congratulations to the 2018 graduates!
